The file records an incident where three U.S. observers witnessed an unidentified flying object in the USSR. The sighting occurred on October 14, 1955, between Aljati and Adzhikabul. The observers were convinced they saw a genuine flying saucer. One of the discs ascended vertically and then accelerated sharply. The U.S. intelligence agency commented on the significance of the report for the USAF's 'Unidentified Flying Objects' project.
